Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Battal Cüneyt Özdağ got the match started through his kick off. Okanalp Darcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdullatif Canfer having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, Baklan JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basri Başar to maneuver through the defense. Battal Cüneyt Özdağ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Baklan JK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Reha Bircanoğlu hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Taksim's Battal Cüneyt Özdağ made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kayacan Tekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fazıl Hüsnü Cihaner's late challenge caught a Baklan JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fazıl Hüsnü Cihaner helped the player get up and apologised. Basri Başar kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Savaş Özenli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Okanalp Darcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdullatif Canfer having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Artaç Özsan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baklan JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taksim the free kick. After a rather tough play, Baklan JK's Artaç Özsan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Taksim's Çağan Tamerkin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Baklan JK. Battal Cüneyt Özdağ's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kayacan Tekin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Battal Cüneyt Özdağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kayacan Tekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüsrev Kutunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Abdullatif Canfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Hüsrev Kutunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullatif Canfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Taksim's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsrev Kutunalp came free, but Abdullatif Canfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Hüsrev Kutunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baklan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüsrev Kutunalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüsrev Kutunalp to make the kick off. Okanalp Darcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Baklan JK booed when Taksim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sermet Terim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Niyazi Özcebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baklan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niyazi Özcebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Hüsrev Kutunalp lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Abdullatif Canfer. When Savaş Özenli came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Taksim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savaş Özenli couldn't finish the play. Kayacan Tekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Cüneyt Özdağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esat Tecmil during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esat Tecmil kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Battal Cüneyt Özdağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kayacan Tekin having to interfere. Okanalp Darcan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Abdullatif Canfer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
