The Kücükbakkalköy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bozkurt Toktuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aşkın Yürük tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Deniz Tunak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencalp Özcebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kücükbakkalköy booed when Burhaniye SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yunus Günden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aşkın Yürük took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Orhun Kahraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Burhaniye SK got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Can Şenbay. 32 minutes into the game, Kücükbakkalköy's Bozkurt Toktuğ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aşkın Yürük made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Deniz Tunak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Yiğit Can Şenbay notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kücükbakkalköy's Gencalp Özcebe. Gencalp Özcebe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th match minute, Kücükbakkalköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Vedat Tuna to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İsmail Orhun Kahraman to make the kick off. Deniz Tunak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gencalp Özcebe having to make a save. Gencalp Özcebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deniz Tunak in the 64th minute of play. Burhaniye SK's Aşkın Yürük proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Burhaniye SK from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Burhaniye SK's goalkeeper Aşkın Yürük had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bozkurt Toktuğ. Gencalp Özcebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deniz Tunak, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bozkurt Toktuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İsmail Orhun Kahraman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Aşkın Yürük made a huge save. 84 minutes into the game, Kücükbakkalköy's Bozkurt Toktuğ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deniz Tunak in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gencalp Özcebe saved Kücükbakkalköy from getting behind. Gencalp Özcebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semi Mübarek in the 92nd minute of play. When Semi Mübarek came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Burhaniye SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semi Mübarek couldn't finish the play. The Kücükbakkalköy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
