The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Balcova SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serkan Avşaroğlu to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Battalgazi's Mehmet Emin Sancar tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Halil Taşer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timur Acabay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Recep Talha Alansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Emrah Özgur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Halil Taşer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Timur Acabay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Balcova SK's Halil Taşer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Alpertunga Seyfullah fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balcova SK's protests and gave Alpertunga Seyfullah a yellow card for diving instead. Mustafa Emrah Özgur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Emrah Özgur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Halil Taşer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balcova SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Halil Taşer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timur Acabay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Halil Taşer struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Timur Acabay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcova SK. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Resulhan Dadaloğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 83 in the game by Mustafa Emrah Özgur from a close distance when the talented Recep Talha Alansoy managed to make a qualified save. Balcova SK's players were relieved. Battalgazi's Mustafa Emrah Özgur got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alpertunga Seyfullah hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mustafa Emrah Özgur succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 86th playminute. Timur Acabay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halit Oray in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Battalgazi's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Taşer came free, but Timur Acabay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Battalgazi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balcova SK throughout the match.
