Suburcu FK's Günalp Sorgun got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günalp Sorgun in the 8th minute of play forced Ceylanpinar FK's goalkeeper Asım Sezgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Suburcu FK's zone, Ali Orhan Seyfi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aydemir Çetinsu came out of the goal and Ali Orhan Seyfi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Arif Oktar in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aydemir Çetinsu saved Suburcu FK from getting behind. Günalp Sorgun in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Asım Sezgi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mehmet Arif Oktar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asım Sezgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günalp Sorgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ceylanpinar FK's zone, Enver Özbilir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asım Sezgi came out of the goal and Enver Özbilir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asım Sezgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günalp Sorgun in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Arif Oktar to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Suburcu FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Arif Oktar came free, but Aydemir Çetinsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Haydar Direm helped the player get up and apologised. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
