Bursa GNÇ's Ziya Ehil got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Abdulhamit Cevizoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursa GNÇ's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulhamit Cevizoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sercan Hozatlı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Olympos FK's Rıfat Turgay got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ziya Ehil struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Sercan Hozatlı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursa GNÇ. In the 16th minute, Ziya Ehil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdulhamit Cevizoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sercan Hozatlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdi Torkal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nizam Olgaç in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bursa GNÇ's Korkut Cilasun got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Okanay Ergümen's late challenge caught a Bursa GNÇ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Okanay Ergümen helped the player get up and apologised. Ziya Ehil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The tension between the Bursa GNÇ and the Olympos FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Bursa GNÇ got a freekick which was hit by Korkut Cilasun. Nizam Olgaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdi Torkal having to interfere. In the 39th minute, one of Bursa GNÇ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bursa GNÇ. In the 49th minute Bursa GNÇ were awarded a corner. Ergün Ünveren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bursa GNÇ's Ergün Ünveren to fire away a dangerous shot which Sercan Hozatlı despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulhamit Cevizoğlu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ziya Ehil made a precise shot to the right of Sercan Hozatlı. Olympos FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Abdulhamit Cevizoğlu succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziya Ehil got free with Sercan Hozatlı in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ziya Ehil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Sercan Hozatlı made a huge save. Nizam Olgaç scored 2-3 in the 100th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdi Torkal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bursa GNÇ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
