The Kastamonu JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berker Dilsafa should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Karsiyaka SK's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Bilge Sadan came free, but Çağrı Koytak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Özdemir Kerimhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Kastamonu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burak Taşgan to maneuver through the defense. Berker Dilsafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özcan Akova in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özcan Akova in the 18th minute of play forced Kastamonu JK's goalkeeper Berker Dilsafa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Yavuz Selimhan Refi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berker Dilsafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yavuz Selimhan Refi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özcan Akova struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Berker Dilsafa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karsiyaka SK. If Yavuz Selimhan Refi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Akova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Yavuz Selimhan Refi scored 0-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berker Dilsafa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Çağrı Koytak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Bilge Sadan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
