Engin Ocakoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teoman Sonay, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, BEYLERBEYİ's goal looked a bit too open when Şevket Tuyuğ came free, but Engin Ocakoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Refik Kutam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The BEYLERBEYİ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hakkari JK were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fazıl Hüsnü Ziya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Ziya in the 88th minute of play forced Hakkari JK's goalkeeper Abbas Özinal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
