Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fazıl Hüsnü Ziya made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, BEYLERBEYİ's goal looked a bit too open when Ertaç Mahçup came free, but Engin Ocakoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Ziya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Fikret Keskinel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in BEYLERBEYİ's zone, Ertaç Mahçup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Engin Ocakoğlu came out of the goal and Ertaç Mahçup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KARŞIYAKA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ahmet Fikret Keskinel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abayhan Sonat in the 34th minute of the match. With a left leg Engin Ocakoğlu saved BEYLERBEYİ from getting behind. After the first half BEYLERBEYİ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ertaç Mahçup made the kick off in the second half. Ertaç Mahçup might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Engin Ocakoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ertaç Mahçup ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, BEYLERBEYİ's Fazıl Hüsnü Ziya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Fikret Keskinel. Ahmet Fikret Keskinel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Cristian Mândru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Engin Ocakoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Abayhan Sonat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Fikret Keskinel was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. KARŞIYAKA's Ahmet Fikret Keskinel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Ziya in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, KARŞIYAKA's Ertaç Mahçup nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Engin Ocakoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Abayhan Sonats short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Ahmet Fikret Keskinel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 96th minute, Ertaç Mahçup ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Engin Ocakoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
