An unexpectedly hard shot by Gian-Carlo Chica in the 34th minute of play forced Bozüyük's goalkeeper Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aytaç Okanay fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bozüyük's protests and gave Aytaç Okanay a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Bozüyük got a freekick which was hit by Aytaç Okanay. 36 minutes into the game, Alsancak's Gian-Carlo Chica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gian-Carlo Chica in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu saved Bozüyük from getting behind. Tolga Cihaner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytaç Okanay in the 42nd minute of play. Bozüyük's Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gian-Carlo Chica in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gian-Carlo Chica to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytaç Okanay in the 52nd minute of play forced Alsancak's goalkeeper Tolga Cihaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bozüyük's Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu got control of the ball when Gian-Carlo Chica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bozüyük's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Raúl Perez scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu, making the score, 2-2. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Gian-Carlo Chica sped through Bozüyük's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu. In the 70th minute, Özal Enfa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Taha Akdağ fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bozüyük's protests and gave Taha Akdağ a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alsancak booed when Bozüyük was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taha Akdağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gian-Carlo Chica came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu could save by the left post. Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Perez in the 84th minute of the match. Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Alsancak's Gian-Carlo Chica shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Gian-Carlo Chica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu having to make a save. Gian-Carlo Chica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Asım Fırıncıoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tolga Cihaner came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Bozüyük's Özdemir Yetik. But to his dismay, Özdemir Yetik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
