With a little luck, Eyüpspor's Mehmet Bilge Durcan got control of the ball when Ali Faruk Ufki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haluk Hacıahmetoğlu made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Mustafa Kemal Şenyurt sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Ali Faruk Ufki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mehmet Bilge Durcan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Korkut Ongunsu's late challenge caught a Suadiye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korkut Ongunsu helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 minutes, Hıdır Neşat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suadiye and the Eyüpspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Suadiye's Hıdır Neşat got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Mustafa Kemal Şenyurt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haluk Hacıahmetoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alim Beysan in the 89th minute of play forced Eyüpspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Bilge Durcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suadiye's Alim Beysan managed to work through Eyüpspor's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alim Beysan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
