Oğuzcan Temel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güntekin Safir in the 42nd minute of the match. Oğuzcan Temel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güntekin Safir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Güntekin Safir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mesut Akıncıbey to strike the kick off in the second half. Suphi Hasret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzcan Temel having to interfere. In the 70th minute, AA11 FC's Abdulaziz Uyguner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abdulaziz Uyguner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AA11 FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abdulaziz Uyguner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in AA11 FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Dogubeyazit a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Özgür Kınıkaslan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AA11 FC's Seyfettin Ferhat. 2-2. Seyfettin Ferhat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazil İrem, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the AA11 FC defense, Ali Orhan Bayer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seyfettin Ferhat. The AA11 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seyfettin Ferhat should have stopped the shot. Güntekin Safir struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Oğuzcan Temel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AA11 FC. If Güntekin Safir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dogubeyazit's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
