Oğuzcan Temel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Oğuz Cintay went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute Mehmet Oğuz Cintay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzcan Temel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kartal's Kutalp Bozdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mesut Akıncıbey in the 17th minute of play. Mesut Akıncıbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutalp Bozdoğan having to interfere. Şenel Acunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mesut Akıncıbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutalp Bozdoğan made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Şenel Acunalp sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Kartal getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Karhan Ezelhan hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Mesut Akıncıbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutalp Bozdoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Coşkun Erdemalp during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Kartal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coşkun Erdemalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 32ndth minute of the game Mesut Akıncıbey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kartal's Kutalp Bozdoğan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mesut Akıncıbey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogubeyazit's supporters rose to their feet, but Mesut Akıncıbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kutalp Bozdoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mesut Akıncıbey kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Mesut Akıncıbey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kutalp Bozdoğan having to make a save. Mesut Akıncıbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mesut Akıncıbey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kartal's zone, Mesut Akıncıbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutalp Bozdoğan came out of the goal and Mesut Akıncıbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Kartal's goal looked a bit too open when Şenel Acunalp came free, but Kutalp Bozdoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mesut Akıncıbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Şenel Acunalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuzcan Temel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Oğuz Cintay in the 63rd minute. Dogubeyazit's Mesut Akıncıbey got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şenel Acunalp struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Kutalp Bozdoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dogubeyazit. Mehmet Oğuz Cintay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Kartal booed when Dogubeyazit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazil İrem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dogubeyazit's goalkeeper Oğuzcan Temel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes of play, Dogubeyazit's Şenel Acunalp made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kutalp Bozdoğan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehmet Oğuz Cintay charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Oğuz Cintay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mehmet Oğuz Cintay hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Mehmet Oğuz Cintay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Dogubeyazit got a freekick which was hit by Derviş Kabadayı. In the 87th minute, Coşkun Erdemalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dogubeyazit's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
