This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Kunter Cevizoğlu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 13th match minute, Durusu FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Hakkı Özkut to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Hakkı Özkut got free with Kunter Cevizoğlu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adnan Özdilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdi Çanak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Münir İlmen in the 28th minute of play forced Durusu FK's goalkeeper Ferdi Çanak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ankaragücü JK's Münir İlmen in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Durusu FK's goalie prevented a goal. If Adnan Özdilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Adnan Özdilek made the kick off in the second half. When Ankaragücü JK's Adnan Özdilek in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Durusu FK's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Ankaragücü JK booed when Durusu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başar Tümenbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Münir İlmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ferdi Çanak made a huge save. Ferdi Çanak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Özdilek in the 59th minute of the match. Adnan Özdilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdi Çanak having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gökcan İmge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankaragücü JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökcan İmge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdi Çanak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Hamit İşbilir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferdi Çanak. Durusu FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Haşim Akyıldız's late challenge caught a Durusu FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haşim Akyıldız helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Durusu FK booed when Ankaragücü JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşim Akyıldız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Başar Apaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. One of Durusu FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ankaragücü JK:s goal. When Adnan Özdilek came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ankaragücü JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adnan Özdilek couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Durusu FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Hakkı Özkut to maneuver through the defense. Adnan Özdilek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ferdi Çanak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If İsmail Hakkı Özkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
