Mihaliccik's Aşık Kutbay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Mihaliccik from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Mihaliccik's Cahit Gurbet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celal Seyhun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Cahit Gurbet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mihaliccik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
