Kirklareli's Ümit Refettin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kirklareli fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Kirklareli's Nedim Teoman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ümit Refettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedim Teoman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Birdal having to interfere. The supporters of Kirklareli booed when Fenerbahçe Minik FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenk Toygun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ümit Refettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kirklareli's Eser Salikbey got control of the ball when Erkan Midilli tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Kirklareli's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Ünalan came free, but Eser Salikbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sami Ünalan in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eser Salikbey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Onur Ali Çağili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nedim Teoman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Birdal having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenerbahçe Minik FK's goalkeeper Orhan Birdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Kirklareli's goal looked a bit too open when Erkan Midilli came free, but Eser Salikbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sami Ünalan took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eser Salikbey. Eser Salikbey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Orhan Birdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ümit Refettin in the 75th minute of the match. Erkan Midilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Salikbey having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Onur Ali Çağili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirklareli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Onur Ali Çağili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Kirklareli failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
