The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aygün Ökmen during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kadiköy booed when Yüksekova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aygün Ökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gürel Göçmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Feyzullay Nesil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kadiköy's goalkeeper Feyzullay Nesil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Raik Asutay came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Kadiköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raik Asutay couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Kadiköy's goalkeeper Feyzullay Nesil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürol Seyfeddin. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yüksekova's goalkeeper Ersan Yağıztekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gürel Göçmen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kadiköy's Feyzullay Nesil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İzzettin Budak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ersan Yağıztekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kadiköy's Rıfkı Akdemir got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 45th minute, İzzettin Budak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İzzettin Budak made a kick off. Gürel Göçmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Feyzullay Nesil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Gürel Göçmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feyzullay Nesil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İzzettin Budak took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ersan Yağıztekin. Ersan Yağıztekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fadıl Nafiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyzullay Nesil having to interfere. If Raik Asutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Yüksekova got a freekick which was hit by Aygün Ökmen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürel Göçmen in the 88th minute of play forced Kadiköy's goalkeeper Feyzullay Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Battal Seyyit İlteber put in a rough tackle. In the 89th minute, one of Yüksekova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yüksekova. Ersan Yağıztekin had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Kamer Suer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Kamer Suer did a trick in the 92nd minute in front of Yüksekova's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-2. An impressive performance by Kadiköy's Kamer Suer! Raik Asutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ersan Yağıztekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kadiköy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
