If Muharrem Darga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fenerbahce getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Selim Köksan hit a great ball. Hürkan Karadeniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerimhan Yekta having to interfere. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boztepe's goalkeeper Olgun Bakırcı, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeynel Sabit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Boztepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melih Akçakaya to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Boztepe defense, Muharrem Darga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olgun Bakırcı. The Boztepe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olgun Bakırcı should have stopped the shot.
