Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) MERKANSPOR's Güray Elçi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Talip Battal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Cadddebostan's goal looked a bit too open when Güray Elçi came free, but Başaran Karadeniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talip Battal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Karadeniz having to interfere. Baran Bilge Pekdemir made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Selami Vahap sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, MERKANSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihangir Subahi to maneuver through the defense. Cadddebostan:s Başaran Karadeniz showed great skill when he stopped Göktan Ertüze:s penalty. Eray Evvel struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Baran Bilge Pekdemir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadddebostan. In the 41st minute, Güray Elçi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Talip Battal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Cadddebostan getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Güney İçkin hit a great ball. Talip Battal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Cadddebostan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlualp Çınar to maneuver through the defense. Eray Evvel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Başaran Karadeniz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Göktan Ertüze. Başaran Karadeniz was a little too slow when Talip Battal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Güray Elçi in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Başaran Karadeniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 played minutes Cadddebostan got a freekick which was hit by Eray Evvel. After 74 played minutes, MERKANSPOR's Göktan Ertüze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Başaran Karadeniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MERKANSPOR reached it. When Güray Elçi came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the MERKANSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güray Elçi couldn't finish the play. Talip Battal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nazmi Genişyürek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadddebostan's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazmi Genişyürek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baran Bilge Pekdemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güray Elçi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kutlualp Çınar's late challenge caught a MERKANSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kutlualp Çınar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MERKANSPOR booed when Cadddebostan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlualp Çınar didn't get a good kick on the ball. MERKANSPOR's Talip Battal got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MERKANSPOR's zone, Selami Vahap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baran Bilge Pekdemir came out of the goal and Selami Vahap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
