The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurtuluş Hunalp got free with Emirşah İhya in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th match minute, Sivrihisar FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günay İğdemir to maneuver through the defense. Sivrihisar FK's Emirşah İhya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İdris Sarıdoğan in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Taskent defense, Erkan Hicran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şafak Vahdettin. The Taskent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şafak Vahdettin should have stopped the shot. Sivrihisar FK's Emirşah İhya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sivrihisar FK from getting a goal against them. Kurtuluş Hunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emirşah İhya having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Erkan Hicran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sivrihisar FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erkan Hicran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şafak Vahdettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Bekiroğlu in the 38th minute of the match. Emirşah İhya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İdris Sarıdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Kurtuluş Hunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emirşah İhya having to interfere. In the 79th minute Neşat Alanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emirşah İhya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsmail Bekiroğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Şafak Vahdettin could save by the left post. The corner ended in Hakkı Taran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taskent's Şafak Vahdettin did a great save. In the 85th minute of the match Hakkı Taran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şafak Vahdettin skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute Erkan Hicran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şafak Vahdettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazım Sena tried in the game's 95th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Şafak Vahdettin. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sivrihisar FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
