When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 55 played minutes, Ahirli's Agah Kutlubay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yavuz Selim Belen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ahirli reached it. Yavuz Selim Belen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolunay Mülayim in the 58th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Ahirli's Kaan Tutuş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yavuz Selim Belen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Enginsu Baldemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Enginsu Baldemir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ahirli's Güral Reşit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Kağan İzgi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Ahirli's goal looked a bit too open when Enginsu Baldemir came free, but Güral Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahirli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
