But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mümtazer Atasagun couldn't finish the play. Tansel Onursev charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tansel Onursev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Ahirli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tansel Onursev to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Osman Ali Direnç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feneryolu's supporters rose to their feet, but Osman Ali Direnç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güral Reşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Tolunay Mülayim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kuzey Özarı, 1-0. Osman Ali Direnç struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Güral Reşit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feneryolu. Musa Berksan's late challenge caught a Ahirli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Musa Berksan helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the game, Görkem Çağar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feneryolu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahirli the free kick. In the 44th minute, Görkem Çağar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Ahirli's Davut Oyum broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Osman Ali Direnç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaan Tutuş was the one to do the kick off. Kuzey Özarı came out of the goal and Tolunay Mülayim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Feneryolu's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Tutuş came free, but Kuzey Özarı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 71st minute of the match Tansel Onursev completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tansel Onursev a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Feneryolu booed when Ahirli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tansel Onursev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaan Tutuş hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Ahirli's goalkeeper Güral Reşit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murathan Urandu. After 78 played minutes Feneryolu got a freekick which was hit by Balamir İmar. With his leg Güral Reşit managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Feneryolu's Osman Ali Direnç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahirli's goalkeeper Güral Reşit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murathan Urandu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Güral Reşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Ahirli's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Ali Direnç came free, but Güral Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güral Reşit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osman Ali Direnç, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
