After a rather tough play, Rize's Feyzullay Bayezit got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Bayındır Utkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Nasih having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Onurhan Özçınar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emrullah İmran kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Bayındır Utkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Feyzullay Bayezit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zile's Ataol Nasih was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Feyzullay Bayezit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ataol Nasih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Onurhan Özçınar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedirhan Canfeda was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Onurhan Özçınar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
