Pars Yafes scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abbas Adahan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gökberk Pehlivan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bedirhan Canfeda was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Abdulvahit Tokuşhan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdulvahit Tokuşhan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of yalovaspor booed when Rize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necat Semi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulvahit Tokuşhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Abdulvahit Tokuşhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. If Abdulvahit Tokuşhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulvahit Tokuşhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedirhan Canfeda having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Gökberk Pehlivan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bedirhan Canfeda was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdulvahit Tokuşhan to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, yalovaspor's Ekrem Zeyyat got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gaffar Göçer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Rize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pars Yafes to maneuver through the defense. Bedirhan Canfeda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdulvahit Tokuşhan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Kayhan Saltar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bedirhan Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kayhan Saltar in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Rauf Ayaydın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rize's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave yalovaspor the free kick. Rize's Bedirhan Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulvahit Tokuşhan in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Rıfkı Birge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. yalovaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rize the free kick. Abbas Adahan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 4-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Rize's Rauf Ayaydın slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abbas Adahan. That made the score 4-5 after 94 minutes of play. Bedirhan Canfeda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdulvahit Tokuşhan's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the match was over Rize could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than yalovaspor throughout the match.
