The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Iverinn FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Recai Ensar charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Recai Ensar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Göztepe SK's Recai Ensar got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alemdar Atikoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Batıkan Ferhat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercan Sehriyar in the 45th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Hayri Özakıncı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göztepe SK and the Iverinn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Iverinn FC booed when Göztepe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recai Ensar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
