Göztepe SK's Yiğitcan Çeliktaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olcay Orkun Sarısaltuk in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Göztepe SK's goal looked a bit too open when Şansal Esentürk came free, but Yiğitcan Çeliktaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serter Betim hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Yiğitcan Çeliktaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olcay Orkun Sarısaltuk's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, Göztepe SK's Hayrettin Kocaalp threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abay İçöz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ladik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fuat Mutlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Göztepe SK's players had a chance to rest. After 29 minutes, Hayri Özakıncı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göztepe SK and the Ladik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Hayri Özakıncı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Ladik's Olcay Orkun Sarısaltuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yiğitcan Çeliktaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 36th minute of the match Vatan Semi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yiğitcan Çeliktaş skillfully saved the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ladik's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Sehriyar came free, but Hayrettin Kocaalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Ercan Sehriyar rounded Ladik's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Olcay Orkun Sarısaltuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğitcan Çeliktaş having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute Ercan Sehriyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrettin Kocaalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abay İçöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Öztürk Kartal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göztepe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Öztürk Kartal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayrettin Kocaalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes Göztepe SK got a freekick which was hit by Serter Betim. After having played for 66 minutes, Abay İçöz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göztepe SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abay İçöz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ercan Sehriyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hayrettin Kocaalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ercan Sehriyar sped through Ladik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hayrettin Kocaalp. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şansal Esentürk got free with Yiğitcan Çeliktaş in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hayrettin Kocaalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercan Sehriyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Öztürk Kartal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrettin Kocaalp having to interfere. In the 86th minute Abay İçöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrettin Kocaalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Öztürk Kartal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Ladik's goal looked a bit too open when Öztürk Kartal came free, but Hayrettin Kocaalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göztepe SK's Yiğitcan Çeliktaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Göztepe SK from getting a goal against them.
