If Mustafa Cumhur Tezcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Baykan Ergener who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korgan's Yiğit Çelen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Korgan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamit Enginalp to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Cumhur Tezcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Korgan's zone, Baykan Ergener stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yiğit Çelen came out of the goal and Baykan Ergener tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Cumhur Tezcan to make the kick off. Baykan Ergener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Çelen having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Aydın Ongar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dörtyolagizi's Ercan Cevval was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hasan Yalkın charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Korgan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yiğit Çelen should have stopped the shot. After having played for 95 minutes, Şahin Ersavaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
