Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bayındır Sulhi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Bodrum's Tayyar Koçaslan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cavit Çakmur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berkem Okyar during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Bodrum got a freekick which was hit by Berkem Okyar. Hinis's Çetin Ilgıt got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Bodrum got a freekick which was hit by Tayyar Koçaslan. After a defensive mix-up in Hinis's zone, Vahit Aksungur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cavit Çakmur came out of the goal and Vahit Aksungur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cavit Çakmur came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Bodrum's İldeniz Ahıska. But to his dismay, İldeniz Ahıska quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Vahit Aksungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Bodrum's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Sulhi came free, but Arın Ferhat Fişek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cavit Çakmur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahit Aksungur in the 38th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when İldeniz Ahıska made the kick off in the second half. Cavit Çakmur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İldeniz Ahıska, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Vahit Aksungur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cavit Çakmur made a huge save. If Vahit Aksungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bodrum booed when Hinis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürkan Baytüze didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Armağan Safir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cavit Çakmur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, İldeniz Ahıska got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahit Aksungur in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cavit Çakmur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vahit Aksungur might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cavit Çakmur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahit Aksungur ran back to his position shaking his head. Cavit Çakmur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vahit Aksungur in the 83rd minute. If Vahit Aksungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Songurbey Ongay fell near the penalty area in the 101st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bodrum's protests and gave Songurbey Ongay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bodrum's Songurbey Ongay got a free kick in the 101st minute. Bodrum's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
