In the 9th play minute Nuralp Cangiray came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aybar Turkay. 2-0. Behlül Arıkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur Ali Ergüleç having to interfere. Behlül Arıkan's late challenge caught a Mersin SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behlül Arıkan helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Dogubeyazit JK got a freekick which was hit by Behlül Arıkan. In the 21st minute, Talat Yanaç fired a really elegant long shot, but Aybar Turkay threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Nuralp Cangiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mersin SK's Nuralp Cangiray got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Onur Ali Ergüleç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behlül Arıkan in the 27th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Yavuzalp Şükür mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dogubeyazit JK and the Mersin SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mersin SK booed when Dogubeyazit JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuzalp Şükür didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Talat Yanaç from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Aybar Turkay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 33 minutes of play, Dogubeyazit JK's Behlül Arıkan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Behlül Arıkan was the one to do the kick off. Yavuzalp Şükür fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur Ali Ergüleç having to interfere. Mazhar Niyaz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Aybar Turkay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talat Yanaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Behlül Arıkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dogubeyazit JK's goalkeeper Aybar Turkay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aybar Turkay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuralp Cangiray in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Mersin SK booed when Dogubeyazit JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuzalp Şükür didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mersin SK were victorious despite being under pressure from Dogubeyazit JK for much of the match.
