The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Seyit Ergüden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızalp Kerimhan in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Agin SK's zone, Ahmet İlhan Şanberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyit Ergüden came out of the goal and Ahmet İlhan Şanberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Ahmet İlhan Şanberk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seyit Ergüden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alp Umurbey in the 8th minute. Necat Uğursel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Yesilova's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Birant Yenisey charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birant Yenisey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Agin SK got a freekick which was hit by Birant Yenisey. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Yesilova's Necat Uğursel in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Seyit Ergüden was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Agin SK through an amazing save. 19 minutes into the match, Yesilova's Alp Umurbey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seyit Ergüden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Yesilova booed when Agin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuncay Ünalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Dilmen Üstay sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Agin SK's Seyit Ergüden didn't even have to move. Necat Uğursel might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seyit Ergüden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necat Uğursel ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Yesilova booed when Agin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant Yenisey didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Alp Umurbey from a close distance when the talented Seyit Ergüden managed to make a qualified save. Agin SK's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alp Umurbey got free with Seyit Ergüden in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Yesilova booed when Agin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuncay Ünalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Veli Derinöz in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boğaç Adışanlı saved Yesilova from getting behind. Boğaç Adışanlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orhan Veli Derinöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Orhan Veli Derinöz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Agin SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Veli Derinöz couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necat Uğursel was the one to do the kick off. Rauf Zihni might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boğaç Adışanlı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rauf Zihni ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute of the match, Birant Yenisey got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boğaç Adışanlı was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alp Umurbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Seyit Ergüden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necat Uğursel in the 65th minute of the match. Necat Uğursel struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Seyit Ergüden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yesilova. After a defensive mix-up in Agin SK's zone, Alp Umurbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyit Ergüden came out of the goal and Alp Umurbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rauf Zihni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boğaç Adışanlı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Agin SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Muharrem Aktaşoğlu in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Muharrem Aktaşoğlu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yesilova's Boğaç Adışanlı did a great save. Birant Yenisey was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Necat Uğursel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Yesilova players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
