With a little luck, ARTVİN CİTY's Baturhan Ersan got control of the ball when Ali Galip Şems tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ata Mengü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zülfikar Baler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ARTVİN CİTY's Baturhan Ersan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezmi Özdil in the 27th minute of play. When Cuma Hekimhanlı fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gercüs JK's protests and gave Cuma Hekimhanlı a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ata Mengü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gercüs JK's Zülfikar Baler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Galip Şems was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, ARTVİN CİTY's Cumhur Özertan got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cezmi Özdil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Baturhan Ersan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Galip Şems had several of the ARTVİN CİTY's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Baturhan Ersan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Baturhan Ersan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Erel in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cezmi Özdil was the one to do the kick off. Cezmi Özdil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baturhan Ersan having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cezmi Özdil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gercüs JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezmi Özdil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baturhan Ersan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gercüs JK's Ali Galip Şems got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baturhan Ersan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Galip Şems, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Batu Cem Sehim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Galip Şems fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturhan Ersan having to interfere. Gercüs JK's Zülfikar Baler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Gercüs JK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gercüs JK's Battal Cüneyt Şahin got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Cezmi Özdil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Gercüs JK were the better team. Gercüs JK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
