Emirhan Vargın received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serhan Teksen came out and tried to block the shot, but Emirhan Vargın slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Genco Bülbül ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Ali Sefer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 14th minute, Berker Rıza Türköz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, Bandırmaspor's goal looked a bit too open when İnanç Taş came free, but Mehmet Ali Sefer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Trabzonspor's protests and gave Berker Sayın a yellow card for diving instead. Berker Sayın kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by İnanç Taş in the 35th minute of play forced Bandırmaspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Sefer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Berker Rıza Türköz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Bandırmaspor booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Rıza Türköz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berker Rıza Türköz to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, İnanç Taş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Ali Sefer. İnanç Taş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. When Genco Bülbül came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Trabzonspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genco Bülbül couldn't finish the play. Mehmet Ali Sefer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berker Rıza Türköz in the 63rd minute of the match. Serhan Teksen came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bandırmaspor's Aral Kazım. But to his dismay, Aral Kazım quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Bandırmaspor's Aral Kazım got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genco Bülbül could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Mehmet Ali Sefer made a huge save. Bandırmaspor's Emirhan Vargın got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berker Rıza Türköz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Sefer having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Emirhan Vargın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandırmaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emirhan Vargın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Bandırmaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Berker Rıza Türköz came free, but Mehmet Ali Sefer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bandırmaspor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trabzonspor's performance. The match ended with a win for Trabzonspor.
