The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Gümüshane's goal looked a bit too open when Ender Tümkut came free, but Cevdet Tonguç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hasan Can Tetiker came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the KANDAVA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasan Can Tetiker couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Gümüshane's goal looked a bit too open when Sedat Hacıahmetoğlu came free, but Cevdet Tonguç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, KANDAVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baskın Kutyan came free, but Çetin Hilal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alican Naşit during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Gümüshane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alican Naşit to maneuver through the defense. Gümüshane's Cevdet Tonguç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peker Kazım in the 12th minute of play. Baskın Kutyan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Çetin Hilal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Türker Müşfik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Baskın Kutyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 played minutes Gümüshane got a freekick which was hit by Asım Arif Türksan. 26 minutes into the match, KANDAVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Türker Müşfik came free, but Çetin Hilal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gencal Varol's late challenge caught a KANDAVA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gencal Varol helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Gümüshane got a freekick which was hit by Gencal Varol. Peker Kazım kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Türker Müşfik had several of the KANDAVA FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Çetin Hilal as he didn't even see the shot coming. Baskın Kutyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baskın Kutyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Çetin Hilal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Türker Müşfik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Türker Müşfik might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çetin Hilal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Türker Müşfik ran back to his position shaking his head. KANDAVA FC's Çetin Hilal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türker Müşfik in the 55th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Timur Özguner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KANDAVA FC and the Gümüshane players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gümüshane booed when KANDAVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timur Özguner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baskın Kutyan in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çetin Hilal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Gümüshane's Baskın Kutyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çetin Hilal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Baskın Kutyan came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gümüshane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baskın Kutyan couldn't finish the play. If Baskın Kutyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Türker Müşfik came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gümüshane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Türker Müşfik couldn't finish the play. In the 75thth minute of the game Baskın Kutyan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KANDAVA FC's Çetin Hilal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Türker Müşfik in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çetin Hilal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gümüshane were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after KANDAVA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Berkem Bozkaya took the corner. Berkem Bozkaya made a great header on Gümüshane's corner, it was just that KANDAVA FC's Çetin Hilal managed to reach the ball for a save. Cevdet Tonguç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sedat Hacıahmetoğlu in the 81st minute of play. Alican Naşit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Çetin Hilal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gümüshane's Gencal Varol got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cevdet Tonguç made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Peker Kazım sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute Türker Müşfik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çetin Hilal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
