The long shot by Ahmet Bülent Ersoy in the 4th minute really tested Olof Ambjörnsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Abdurrahman Uğurcan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 8 minutes into the match, Denizli Spor F.K's goalkeeper Olof Ambjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tunç Kılıçhan. Cevahir Yılhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semavi Özertan having to interfere. If Tunç Kılıçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ufuk Bilgehan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Semavi Özertan was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Cevahir Yılhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Semavi Özertan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ufuk Bilgehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Talat Nasrullah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pütürge SK and the Denizli Spor F.K players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Talat Nasrullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Denizli Spor F.K's Selçuk Erdem in action when he in the 32nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Semavi Özertan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ufuk Bilgehan in the 35th minute of play. Cevahir Yılhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cevahir Yılhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semavi Özertan having to interfere. A collision led to Pütürge SK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ahmet Kutsi Duha hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cevahir Yılhan in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Semavi Özertan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Denizli Spor F.K were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdurrahman Uğurcan to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Abdurrahman Uğurcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Ambjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Ufuk Bilgehan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Kutsi Duha kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ufuk Bilgehan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pütürge SK's Semavi Özertan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tunç Kılıçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Cevahir Yılhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denizli Spor F.K's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevahir Yılhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pütürge SK's Semavi Özertan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Pütürge SK from getting a goal against them. Ufuk Bilgehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Abdulbaki Ilgıt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denizli Spor F.K's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulbaki Ilgıt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Pütürge SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denizli Spor F.K were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
