When Vahit Öztekin fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorgun FK's protests and gave Vahit Öztekin a yellow card for diving instead. Vahit Öztekin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Oğuzalp Devan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oğuzalp Devan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özdemir Denizhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Namık Kemal Salman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oğuzalp Devan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mustafa Ekrem Yengi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Sorgun FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babür Hüryaşar to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Osman Nuri Genç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feneryolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osman Nuri Genç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 played minutes Sorgun FK got a freekick which was hit by Sercan Özmen. Adil Nazir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osman Nuri Genç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mustafa Ekrem Yengi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Namık Kemal Salman took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özdemir Denizhan. Özdemir Denizhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Osman Nuri Genç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Türkeş Zümer hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Feneryolu's Özdemir Denizhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Kemal Salman in the 46th minute of play. The Feneryolu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sorgun FK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oğuzalp Devan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Osman Nuri Genç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorgun FK's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Yengi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Osman Nuri Genç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Ekrem Yengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzalp Devan in the 67th minute of play. Mustafa Ekrem Yengi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmi Başat, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ali Emir Kamran charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Emir Kamran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sorgun FK's Ali Emir Kamran got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Sorgun FK's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Nuri Genç came free, but Mustafa Ekrem Yengi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Ekrem Yengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzalp Devan in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Osman Nuri Genç made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Ekrem Yengi. Sorgun FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sorgun FK! A collision led to Feneryolu getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Songurhan Cebeci hit a great ball.
