Çelik Bahadıroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Suat Aytuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Çelik Bahadıroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Suat Aytuğ was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Tunceli's Ahmet Efe Tüzüner got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tunceli's Çelik Bahadıroğlu got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, Ahmet Efe Tüzüner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nuri Satıkbuğra fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GENĆLERBÍRLÌĞÍ's protests and gave Nuri Satıkbuğra a yellow card for diving instead. Nuri Satıkbuğra kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Çelik Bahadıroğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tunceli and the GENĆLERBÍRLÌĞÍ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Çelik Bahadıroğlu to make the kick off. Alim Orgunalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Suat Aytuğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alim Orgunalp ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of GENĆLERBÍRLÌĞÍ booed when Tunceli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Efe Tüzüner didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çelik Bahadıroğlu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Suat Aytuğ saved GENĆLERBÍRLÌĞÍ from getting behind. Mustafa Necati Sadan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. GENĆLERBÍRLÌĞÍ's Suat Aytuğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save GENĆLERBÍRLÌĞÍ from getting a goal against them. Suat Aytuğ made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Çelik Bahadıroğlu sent off a good shot on target. Suat Aytuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çelik Bahadıroğlu in the 72nd minute of the match. Çelik Bahadıroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Çelik Bahadıroğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ahmet Efe Tüzüner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Suat Aytuğ made a huge save. Tunceli were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing GENĆLERBÍRLÌĞÍ to leave the ground with a draw.
