The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yıldıray Dursunali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emirşah İshak, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Emirşah İshak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yıldıray Dursunali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, KARŞIYAKA's Yıldıray Dursunali got control of the ball when Aşkın Yeler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emirşah İshak in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yıldıray Dursunali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Emirşah İshak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldıray Dursunali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes KARŞIYAKA got a freekick which was hit by Ziya Kani. Emirşah İshak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 41st minute Emirşah İshak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldıray Dursunali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Emirşah İshak rounded KARŞIYAKA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ziya Kani made a kick off. In the 54th minute Emirşah İshak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldıray Dursunali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KARŞIYAKA booed when ADA KURTTEPE İ.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demirhan Nuralp didn't get a good kick on the ball.
