After 25 minutes, Şehzade Pekinturk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yüregir and the Sariyer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Harun Özveren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taci Mecnun having to interfere. Şehzade Pekinturk got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Recai Cezar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taci Mecnun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Harun Özveren in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Yüregir's goal looked a bit too open when Recai Cezar came free, but Taci Mecnun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Recai Cezar in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taci Mecnun saved Yüregir from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Sariyer's goalkeeper Birol Adalıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emrullah Geçim. Recai Cezar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Fedai Tapık was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sariyer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yüregir the free kick. After 70 played minutes Sariyer got a freekick which was hit by Fedai Tapık. 74 minutes into the match, Sariyer's goalkeeper Birol Adalıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emrullah Geçim. Sariyer's Birol Adalıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sariyer from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ahmet Harun Özveren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sariyer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Harun Özveren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
