Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Behzat Temizkal started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Dörtdivan SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vecdet Sağlamtürk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 5thth minute of the game Bircan Yurdaşen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayat's Enver Darga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bircan Yurdaşen in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enver Darga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Hamit Ünlüsoy was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Zeki Teoman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zeki Teoman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Dörtdivan SK booed when Bayat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Gaffar Mürşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bayat's Vecdet Sağlamtürk was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Bircan Yurdaşen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bayat's Enver Darga. Enver Darga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ali Behzat Temizkal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vecdet Sağlamtürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vecdet Sağlamtürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hamit Ünlüsoy having to interfere. Mustafa Hamit Ünlüsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeki Teoman in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dörtdivan SK's zone, Vecdet Sağlamtürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hamit Ünlüsoy came out of the goal and Vecdet Sağlamtürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vecdet Sağlamtürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dörtdivan SK's Mustafa Hamit Ünlüsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeki Teoman in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Behzat Temizkal in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enver Darga saved Bayat from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeki Teoman was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Dörtdivan SK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aşkın Okanay hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Dörtdivan SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şinasi Okboğa to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Vecdet Sağlamtürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Arif Gaffar Mürşit kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Dörtdivan SK's Bircan Yurdaşen got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Behzat Temizkal in the 81st minute of play forced Bayat's goalkeeper Enver Darga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bircan Yurdaşen got free with Enver Darga in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 86th minute of the match Arif Gaffar Mürşit completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arif Gaffar Mürşit a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Dörtdivan SK booed when Bayat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Gaffar Mürşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nadir Özdamar during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bayat fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Şinasi Okboğa walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bircan Yurdaşens short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Enver Darga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bayat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dörtdivan SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
