Montenegro's Hulki Sayar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özal Sudi in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erim Kasım in the 15th minute of play forced Montenegro's goalkeeper Hulki Sayar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Celalettin İshak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silivri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montenegro the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Silivri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celalettin İshak to maneuver through the defense. Ardahan Tanırcan struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Özal Sudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montenegro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erim Kasım was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erim Kasım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hulki Sayar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Hakan Salcan to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özal Sudi in the 57th minute of play forced Montenegro's goalkeeper Hulki Sayar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Montenegro got a freekick which was hit by Haydar Şahinter. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demircan Ganim in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bilgin Özdinçer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Özal Sudi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hulki Sayar having to make a save. A collision led to Montenegro getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Haydar Şahinter hit a great ball. Erim Kasım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hulki Sayar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Montenegro's goalkeeper Hulki Sayar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erim Kasım. Erim Kasım was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hulki Sayar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erim Kasım, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hulki Sayar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özal Sudi in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Özal Sudi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silivri's supporters rose to their feet, but Özal Sudi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hulki Sayar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hulki Sayar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erim Kasım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
