Efespor were furious when İldeniz Övünç was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 4 minutes into the game, one of Efespor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Efespor getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Savaş Ünver hit a great ball. Ali Vedat Nahit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Bedri Özgurcan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 2-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Ali Vedat Nahit elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Werder Weremem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Vedat Nahit to maneuver through the defense. Seyfettin Arınç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayvaz Beycan's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Sezer Hitit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efespor's Bedri Özgurcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Rıfat Özçevik in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Rıfat Özçevik in the 57th minute of play forced Efespor's goalkeeper Bedri Özgurcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zikri Özçelik's late challenge caught a Werder Weremem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zikri Özçelik helped the player get up and apologised. Zikri Özçelik hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Abdulbaki Tolay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedri Özgurcan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Kubat Toprak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, Werder Weremem's Ahmet Rıfat Özçevik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bedri Özgurcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 79th match minute, Werder Weremem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşin Kınıkaslan to maneuver through the defense. Ayvaz Beycan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Seyfettin Arınç 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Halit Ankaralı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Werder Weremem's Abdulbaki Tolay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 89 minutes of play, Efespor's Sezer Hitit made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seyfettin Arınç was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, Werder Weremem could leave the field as winners, despite Efespor having more of the ball for most of the match.
