The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Yahyali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pars Urhan to maneuver through the defense. Bahadırhan Usun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soner Elçioğlu having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Bahadırhan Usun made a precise shot to the right of Soner Elçioğlu. Yahyali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bahadırhan Usun struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Soner Elçioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NOVA SPOR KULÜBÜ. A collision led to Yahyali getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Çağlar Taştan hit a great ball. Soner Elçioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durmuş Tuğra, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Çağlar Taştan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Soner Elçioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahadırhan Usun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durmuş Tuğra took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Soner Elçioğlu. Soner Elçioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Soner Elçioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahadırhan Usun in the 32nd minute of the match. Soner Elçioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durmuş Tuğra in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Durmuş Tuğra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Bahadırhan Usun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Soner Elçioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Ahmet Nedim Vefakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Bahadırhan Usun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soner Elçioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The wind increased when Mustafa Numan Şah made the kick off in the second half. Matei Zăreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Numan Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Durmuş Tuğra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Soner Elçioğlu made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Bahadırhan Usun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Bahadırhan Usun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yahyali's Mustafa Numan Şah got a free kick in the 66th minute. Durmuş Tuğra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Soner Elçioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Yahyali got a freekick which was hit by Armağan Kolçak. After a defensive mix-up in Yahyali's zone, Bahadırhan Usun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soner Elçioğlu came out of the goal and Bahadırhan Usun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, NOVA SPOR KULÜBÜ's Durmuş Tuğra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Soner Elçioğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.
