An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenan Heybetli in the 18th minute of play forced FenerbahçeSK's goalkeeper Alişan Akçakaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İsmail Özgebay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olcay Orkun Tancan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Alişan Akçakaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Heybetli in the 22nd minute of play. Olcay Orkun Tancan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Özgebay having to interfere. Alişan Akçakaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koray Ergunalp in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Münir Mikail got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Buldan SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FenerbahçeSK were winning 0-1.

When Koray Ergunalp came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Buldan SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koray Ergunalp couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FenerbahçeSK's zone, Cenan Heybetli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alişan Akçakaya came out of the goal and Cenan Heybetli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alişan Akçakaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koray Ergunalp in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Münir Mikail managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FenerbahçeSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Münir Mikail was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Buldan SK's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Orkun Tancan came free, but İsmail Özgebay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
