An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Vermudo in the 3rd minute of play forced Ordu's goalkeeper Rafettin Tunçsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Turgut Müjdat notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ordu&TaşLıçay Sk's Onur Şahbazoğlu. Onur Şahbazoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute of the match Birant Vehbi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafettin Tunçsoy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodoro Vermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Teodoro Vermudo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ordu&TaşLıçay Sk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Vermudo couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Ordu defense, Teodoro Vermudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafettin Tunçsoy. The Ordu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafettin Tunçsoy should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ordu&TaşLıçay Sk getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Birant Vehbi hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Arif Buğra Camcıoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Rafettin Tunçsoy. Ordu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ordu's Rafettin Tunçsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Buğra Camcıoğlu in the 40th minute of play. Batu Esentürk's late challenge caught a Ordu&TaşLıçay Sk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batu Esentürk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Ordu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batu Esentürk to maneuver through the defense. If Teodoro Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Arif Buğra Camcıoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Vermudo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafettin Tunçsoy was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Teodoro Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rafettin Tunçsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işıkalp Onatkan made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ordu&TaşLıçay Sk's Baycan Kayrak. After having played for 63 minutes, Batu Esentürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ordu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batu Esentürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ordu's Rafettin Tunçsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Buğra Camcıoğlu in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ordu's zone, Teodoro Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafettin Tunçsoy came out of the goal and Teodoro Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Arif Buğra Camcıoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Rafettin Tunçsoy however easily saved by the left post. Rafettin Tunçsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baycan Kayrak in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Vermudo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafettin Tunçsoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gündüz İzgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ordu&TaşLıçay Sk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ordu&TaşLıçay Sk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
