Vehdi Keykubad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iznik. If Arda Baybars Öztaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Tuncay Uyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doruk Gürtuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iznik's Akşemseddin Sağıt got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vehdi Keykubad made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Arif Çelebi Safi sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Palandöken's goal looked a bit too open when Akşemseddin Sağıt came free, but Vehdi Keykubad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palandöken's Vehdi Keykubad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Palandöken from getting a goal against them. After having played for 30 minutes, Arif Çelebi Safi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iznik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Çelebi Safi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tuncay Uyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Doruk Gürtuna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hayati Afşar fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palandöken's protests and gave Hayati Afşar a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palandöken fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Bahadır Özker walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Akşemseddin Sağıt to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Palandöken's goal looked a bit too open when Akşemseddin Sağıt came free, but Vehdi Keykubad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Barbaros Sayrak to score against Vehdi Keykubad in Palandöken's goal. 1-0 after 54 minutes. Iznik's Arif Çelebi Safi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Akşemseddin Sağıt made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palandöken's Vehdi Keykubad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Palandöken's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Çelebi Safi came free, but Vehdi Keykubad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barbaros Sayrak hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Arda Baybars Öztaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vehdi Keykubad came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Iznik's Akşemseddin Sağıt. But to his dismay, Akşemseddin Sağıt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Akşemseddin Sağıt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vehdi Keykubad having to interfere. Arif Çelebi Safi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vehdi Keykubad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Iznik had played much better football throughout.
