Ziya Türkcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ardahan Okatay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Giresun's goal looked a bit too open when İskender Perker came free, but Ali Kürşat Haseki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If İskender Perker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Švéda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kürşat Haseki having to interfere. Ali Kürşat Haseki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Švéda in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Giresun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran Alp Çiftçioğlu to maneuver through the defense. If İskender Perker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziya Türkcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merih Kelami, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Bahadır Murathan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Kürşat Haseki. Giresun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bahadır Murathan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 34th minute, Baran Alp Çiftçioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giresun's Ali Kürşat Haseki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Švéda in the 34th minute of play. When Adam Švéda came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kartal JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Švéda couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Kartal JK's Ziya Türkcan got control of the ball when Onurhan Gürgen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Adam Švéda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ali Kürşat Haseki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ardahan Okatay to strike the kick off in the second half. Adam Švéda might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Kürşat Haseki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Švéda ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Giresun's Ali Kürşat Haseki got control of the ball when İskender Perker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Kartal JK's İskender Perker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Kürşat Haseki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ziya Türkcan came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Giresun's Merih Kelami. But to his dismay, Merih Kelami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Adam Švéda struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ali Kürşat Haseki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kartal JK. If İskender Perker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Melik Yıldıray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kartal JK and the Giresun players grew even worse after the yellow card. Melik Yıldıray kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Giresun's Ali Kürşat Haseki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Švéda in the 95th minute of play. The Giresun fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kartal JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
