Ali Nabi Dursunali kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Tahir Hacıağa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maslak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahir Hacıağa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Faruk Pekant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faruk Pekant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Pekant in the 22nd minute of play forced Esentepe's goalkeeper Karhan Demir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cabbar Bostancı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulki Özel having to interfere. Hulki Özel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cabbar Bostancı, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Faruk Pekant reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karhan Demir. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maslak's goalkeeper Hulki Özel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Esentepe's goalkeeper Karhan Demir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tahir Hacıağa. In the 35th minute, Anıl Ozan Şahbender left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esentepe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Maslak's zone, Cabbar Bostancı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hulki Özel came out of the goal and Cabbar Bostancı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cabbar Bostancı in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hulki Özel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 45 minutes, Anıl Ozan Şahbender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esentepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Ozan Şahbender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faruk Pekant was the one to do the kick off. Tahir Hacıağa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karhan Demir having to interfere. Faruk Pekant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Esentepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onurhan Türe to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, Maslak's Faruk Pekant made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karhan Demir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esentepe's Karhan Demir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Pekant in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Tahir Hacıağa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maslak's supporters rose to their feet, but Tahir Hacıağa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karhan Demir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faruk Pekant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Karhan Demir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Tahir Hacıağa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karhan Demir. Esentepe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tahir Hacıağa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Tahir Hacıağa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Karhan Demir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karhan Demir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Pekant in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Esentepe's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Pekant came free, but Karhan Demir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karhan Demir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Pekant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulki Özel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cabbar Bostancı went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute Anıl Ozan Şahbender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hulki Özel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ali Galip Özakan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maslak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esentepe the free kick. In the 95th minute, Ali Galip Özakan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maslak's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
