Abdurrezzak Canıtez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anıl Ege Şah went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the match, Kuluncak's goalkeeper Doğan Öktemer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Kadri Eralkan. 7 minutes in the game, Seyhun Şahabeddin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Doğan Öktemer having to interfere. Kuluncak's Doğan Öktemer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kuluncak from getting a goal against them. Anıl Ege Şah struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Abdurrezzak Canıtez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuluncak. In the 14thth minute of the game Hatemi Uluant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gençlerbirliği FC's Abdurrezzak Canıtez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Kadri Eralkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Doğan Öktemer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akın İlbey charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği FC's zone, Muhammet Boğatekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdurrezzak Canıtez came out of the goal and Muhammet Boğatekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anıl Ege Şah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Abdurrezzak Canıtez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anıl Ege Şah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrezzak Canıtez having to interfere. Kayacan Toran kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Kuluncak's Anıl Ege Şah got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hatemi Uluant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Anıl Ege Şah came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Kuluncak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Ege Şah couldn't finish the play. The Gençlerbirliği FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kuluncak were winning 0-1.

With his leg Abdurrezzak Canıtez managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Kuluncak's Anıl Ege Şah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 52nd minute, Hatemi Uluant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Orçun Hataylı put in a rough tackle. In the 55th minute, one of Kuluncak:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kuluncak. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Gençlerbirliği FC. Atay Özçelik stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Doğan Öktemer. 1-1. Mustafa Necati Refik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Abdurrezzak Canıtez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doğan Öktemer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kadri Eralkan in the 71st minute of play. Hatemi Uluant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kuluncak's supporters rose to their feet, but Hatemi Uluant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdurrezzak Canıtez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hatemi Uluant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gençlerbirliği FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Kuluncak for much of the match.
