After 8 minutes, Melih Orus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Persembe JK and the Gökdelen players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Persembe JK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Melih Orus hit a great ball. Emrah Kornes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Gazi Zahir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melih Orus in the 13th minute of play forced Gökdelen's goalkeeper Cesur Sevgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesur Sevgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Orus, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Melih Orus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesur Sevgen having to interfere. İstemihan Tandan scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesur Sevgen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Akşemseddin Durak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gazi Zahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Melih Orus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesur Sevgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Akşemseddin Durak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Persembe JK's zone, Emrah Kornes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gazi Zahir came out of the goal and Emrah Kornes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesur Sevgen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melih Orus's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Zühtü Sabeddin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gazi Zahir. Persembe JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İstemihan Tandan was the one to do the kick off. Cesur Sevgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İstemihan Tandan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melih Orus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesur Sevgen having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, İstemihan Tandan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Persembe JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İstemihan Tandan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melih Orus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cesur Sevgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gaffar Darga fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Persembe JK's protests and gave Gaffar Darga a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Persembe JK got a freekick which was hit by Gaffar Darga. 66 minutes into the game, Ali Nejat Sayılgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Persembe JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gökdelen the free kick. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Gökdelen. Zühtü Sabeddin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gazi Zahir. 1-1. İstemihan Tandan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesur Sevgen having to interfere. In the 76th minute Gaffar Darga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesur Sevgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melih Oruss short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Cesur Sevgen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mustafa Birol Ünveren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Gökdelen's goal looked a bit too open when İstemihan Tandan came free, but Cesur Sevgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Persembe JK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
