Alemdar Okcun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan in the 3rd minute of play. Bayındır Mehmet Demircan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alemdar Okcun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Ege Başkara kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Dinçer Başsoy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zonguldakspor's Alemdar Okcun didn't even have to move. After having played for 15 minutes, Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bayındır Mehmet Demircan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Okcun having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Tuğrul Ulutaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zonguldakspor's Dursun Günden slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Garip Bintuğ. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Bayındır Mehmet Demircan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FENERBAHÇE's Baysal Erakıncı got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dursun Günden to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bayındır Mehmet Demircan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alemdar Okcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Zonguldakspor's Dursun Günden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garip Bintuğ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alemdar Okcun. Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Tuğrul Ulutaş kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kadir Özkent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kadir Özkent struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Garip Bintuğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zonguldakspor. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alemdar Okcun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Bedri Dirsehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
