After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Eşref Bostan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumelikavagi's supporters rose to their feet, but Eşref Bostan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eşref Bostan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Kadri Usberk's late challenge caught a Gördes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Ayvaz Suhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sungurhan Erengüç fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gördes's protests and gave Sungurhan Erengüç a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Gördes got a freekick which was hit by Sungurhan Erengüç. 78 minutes into the game, Batuhan Kerimhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gördes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rumelikavagi the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Gördes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batuhan Kerimhan to maneuver through the defense. Ayvaz Suhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Gördes's Emrullah Başbuğoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Gördes from getting a goal against them.
